Donkeys can be a very useful and therapeutic tool to both entertain and educate our children.

We will visit your school and show the children how we care for our donkey’s with grooming, tack up and general care and welfare of the donkey’s.

A short talk is given to the children explaining what the donkey’s do, where they live and work, what they’re likes and dislikes are and their individual characters.

During the presentation the children are encouraged to ask as many questions as they wish either pre-planned or otherwise, so that they can gain a much broader insight into the needs and role of the donkey’s.

At the end of the presentation the children are given the chance to feed the donkey’s apples and carrots and are also treated to a short ride before they depart.

The visits have proven to be very rewarding and the feedback from the staff and children is very enthusiastic and encouraging..

It is widely proven that donkey’s are also very therapeutic for people with physical and learning difficulties and the benefits are un-measurable.

The children also get to have a ride or two on the donkey’s.
